FlowStation Configurator
In the majority of applications, an out-of-the-box FlowStation does not require the use of the FlowStation Configurator. The local touch screen or a laptop connection to the FlowStation Ethernet port will allow configuration of all the parameters necessary for FlowStation operation and communication.
FlowStation Configurator is needed when the user is unable to use the default communication parameters of the local serial or LAN port when performing initial configuration.
FlowStation Configurator provides the following functions through a local USB connection:
• Configure local serial port settings
• Configure local LAN port settings
• Back up FlowStation configuration to file
• Restore FlowStation configuration from file
• Replicate FlowStation configuration for a new installation
• Set the real-time clock
• Load FlowStation firmware updates
