How is ISaGRAF configured to use the I/O variable dongle?

The ISaGRAF dongle, a hardware key connected to the computer’s parallel printer port, is required when more than the basic 32 IO points are required. To utilize the dongle the appropriate Sentinel driver must be installed. To install the Sentinel driver:

Insert the Control Microsystems IEC 61131-3 installation CD into the local CD drive. The following dialog will be displayed automatically after several seconds:

Select the Browse CD button. The browser dialog is opened.
Browse into the ISaGRAF Work Bench\Sentinel folder.
For any Windows computer operating system later than WIN 95, browse into the WIN_NT folder.
Double click on the SETUPX86.EXE application. The following dialog is displayed:

Select the Functions | Install Sentinel Driver command. The following dialog is displayed:

Select the OK button. When the installation is completed successfully the following dialog is displayed:

Select the OK button to close the dialog.
Select the File | Quit command to close the driver installation dialog.
Close the browser dialog.
Select the Exit button to close the IEC 61131-3 installation CD main dialog.
