RealFLO Training
This 1-day course is designed to give each participant a detailed introduction to the Dual Run Gas Flow Computer and RealFLO Human Machine Interface (HMI). The knowledge gained from this course will enable participants to successfully install the Gas Flow Computer and to use RealFLO to edit, monitor and display Dual Run Gas Flow Computer configuration.
A sample Dual Run Gas Flow Computer application will be developed to demonstrate the features of the RealFLO Human Machine Interface. The editing of the Dual Run Gas Flow Computer configuration parameters such as process inputs, contract specifications, density calculations and flow calculations for each meter run are examined.
The following RealFLO features will be examined during the development of the sample Dual Run Gas Flow Computer application.
- Using RealFLO to display the Dual Run Flow Computer current readings, historical logs and event logs for each meter run.
- Customizing RealFLO to display multiple configuration and display windows so data can be displayed from multiple views at the same time.
- Generating customized reports for configuration data, historical data logs and event logs.
- Saving configuration parameters, current readings, historical data logs and event logs to spreadsheet files.
- Calibrating input sensors and saving calibration records using RealFLO wizard-style dialog for input sensor calibration.
- Integrating the flow calculation capability with user applications written in Ladder Logic or C.
- Integrating the Dual Flow Computer with SCADA systems using Modbus compatible communications. Techniques for accessing data, configuration and calculation factors over a SCADA network are shown.
